Jobs Fund

The Jobs Fund is an initiative of the National Treasury. It was launched in June 2011 with the goal to address the challenge of unemployment in South Africa. This initiative is about promoting employment growth and job creation in the country with grant funding for projects that will create employment opportunities and contribute to a skilled labour force.

Impact Catalyst

The Impact Catalyst is an initiative founded by Anglo American, the CSIR, Exxaro, and World Vision South Africa to drive large-scale social and economic development initiatives through public-private partnerships. It leverages collaboration across all sectors and develops initiatives that have the potential to positively impact and transform communities beyond the scale of individual participants.

Impala Platinum

Integrating social interventions into business processes is an important part of Impala Platinum's strategy to address the social issues that are associated with mining, including poverty, job creation, and community safety. As part of this effort, Impala Platinum has partnered with governments and development agencies to leverage its expertise in mining in order to improve the lives of local communities.
