Restructuring SerDev within the Sernick Group

The Sernick Group wishes to announce a strategic restructuring initiative within SerDev, aimed at positioning the business for sustainable growth in response to the financial challenges faced over the past year. This decision reflects our commitment to adapting to market dynamics and ensuring the long-term viability of the organisation.

As part of this initiative, SerDev will transition into a project-focused operational unit within the Sernick Group. This refined model will prioritise effective project implementation by focusing on streamlined processes and enhanced resource allocation, aligning with the group’s strategic objectives and market opportunities.

Additionally, the SerDev Board of Directors and Jerome Topley have mutually agreed that he will step down from his role as Managing Director at the end of February 2025. We are grateful for Jerome’s invaluable contributions during his tenure, and his leadership has been instrumental in shaping SerDev’s trajectory.

Looking ahead, subject to the approval of the Sernick Executive Committee, Jerome or his newly formed entity may remain engaged with the group in a new capacity, focusing on fundraising and business development activities. This transition underscores our commitment to leveraging Jerome’s expertise while enabling SerDev to operate as a streamlined and fit-for-purpose unit within the Sernick Group.
