The Northern Cape Livestock Farmer Development Programme

The primary goal of the Northern Cape Livestock Development Programme is to teach emerging farmers in the John Taolo Gaetsewe (Northern Cape) District who practise traditional farming methods more commercially viable agricultural practices.

The programme adopts SerDev’s development model and employs a tiered approach that assists farmers at different stages of growth and encourages them to transition from traditional to commercial farming by offering various training and incentives.
